Chief Executive Officer

Terry is the President and Chief Executive Officer of EP Group, responsible for leading the operations, sales and marketing efforts for the firm. Terry joined Evening Post Industries in 2000 as President of Evening Post subsidiary, Cordillera Communications. In 2019, he became President of Evening Post Industries, and has served as a Board Member for the Evening Post since 2013.

Terry attended Notre Dame of Canada.

Joe Waring

Chief Financial Officer

Joe is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of EP Group, where he leads the firm in acquiring and building out new platforms. Joe previously served as the Chief Financial Officer for Evening Post Industries until its restructuring in 2021. While at Evening Post Industries, Joe worked on numerous acquisitions and divestitures in broadcast television, hospice, marketing services and disability advocacy. Before working at Evening Post Industries, Joe worked for various departments of the HSBC Group in Chicago, New York, and London.

Joe holds a Bachelor's Degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Juris Doctorate and Masters of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.

DeAnne Baumgartner

Chief Human Resource Officer

DeAnne is the Chief Human Resource Officer of EP Group where she oversees employee relations and helps to develop company culture. She brings over 20 years of HR experience from various industries, including healthcare, government contracting and publishing.

DeAnne earned her degree from the College of Charleston, and is a SHRM Certified Professional, HRCI Certified Professional, a trained workplace conflict mediator and a Birkman Certified Professional.

Edward Bennett

VP of Strategy & Legal Affairs

Edward is Vice President of Strategy and Legal Affairs, in which he oversees the development and management of strategic initiatives while also being responsible for legal affairs for the firm. A native of Charleston, prior to joining EP Group, Edward was a lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York where he represented U.S. and international businesses, family-controlled entities and individuals in a broad range of matters. Before that, he worked in the Hanoi office of Vietnam Partners LLC, a boutique Indochina-focused investment bank.

Edward received his M.B.A., J.D., and B.A. from the University of Virginia.

David Scharett

VP of Finance

David is the Vice President of Finance, responsible for overseeing the company's financial consolidation and reporting at EP Group. David previously served as the Corporate Controller of Evening Post Industries from 2013 until its restructuring in 2021. He brings over 20 years of accounting experience to EP Group, having worked across multiple industries including media, healthcare, automotive and commercial real estate

David holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Clemson University, and a Masters of Business Administration from The Citadel.

Tom Hayes

Corporate Development Manager

Tom is the Corporate Development Manager of EP Group, where he is responsible for the firm’s business development. His primary focus is on sourcing new investments and growing operations of existing divisions. Before joining EP Group in 2020, Tom worked in private equity due diligence developing market and strategy reports.

Tom earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Business Analytics from Boston College.

Melissa Barbour-Dickerson

Director of Finance & Risk

Melissa is the Director of Finance and Risk at EP Group, where she leads accounting, treasury and risk management operations for the firm and its subsidiaries, and is responsible for federal and state tax compliance and member relations. Previously, Melissa worked as a senior tax manager at WebsterRogers LLP.

Melissa received her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from James Madison University and a Master of Science in Accountancy from College of Charleston.

Adam Carroll

Director of Technology

Adam is the Director of Technology at EP Group, where he is responsible for learning and managing the firm's IT infrastructure and security. Prior to joining EP Group, Adam worked as a field engineer for IBM for 14 years.

Adam earned his Degree in Information Technology from York Technical College.

Faith Siegel

Office Administrator

Faith is the Office Administrator for EP Group, where she supports the day-to-day operations of the firm. Prior to joining EP Group, Faith worked in administration, management, and sales.

Faith is currently pursuing her degree in Marketing and Business Administration.
